Portraiture vs. Photojournalism
Traditional portraiture and photojournalism go hand in hand in quality wedding
photography. You can choose various amounts of either style to suit your
needs and your locations.

Typically, we think a (70/30) split (Photojournalism / Traditional) works best for
most applications - but the choice is yours! The best place to look for ideas are
bridal catalogs and magazines. They contain different styles and techniques
that we can incorporate into your unique vision.

Traditional Portraiture: Old Fashioned doesn't have to be old hat! There's a
graceful touch needed to capture portraits right. Just standing there and
clicking away doesn't convey the emotion and presence of someone as they
really are, so subtle touches and experience help a lot.

Photojournalism: This is the dramatic method of capturing candid moments
of you and your guests. Typically, I try to stay out of sight so that nobody feels
a need to "pose" and snap away. As a result, the photos show natural smiles
and bright faces as they're happening during one of the happiest days of your
life.
